Quillaja saponaria, the soap bark tree or soapbark, is an evergreen tree in the family Quillajaceae, native to warm temperate central Chile.
The inner bark of the soap bark tree contains saponin, which is a natural soap.
This gently-foaming botanical soap is naturally SLS-free making it a non-toxic substitute which is well tolerated on more sensitive skin due to it’s natural anti-inflammatory properties and its ability to inhibit the excess build up of oils which can lead to flare-ups.
